treadmill
April asked:

I’m about 126 lbs and I want to lose 5- 10 for 4-5 months by running on the treadmill. What is a good pace to start as a beginner? Should I start at a comfortable speed for a few days , and increase the speed the next week ? There is a formula 220-age= max heart rate, but I’m not sure what to multiply to get BPM. Is it 80 % or 60%.

Go for long walks or run your treadmill i’m guessing 10-20 miles per hour for 45 minutes to an hour and a half. Try 80%. Exercise isn’t all you need to do to lose wait. Eat lots of vegetables and fruits. Drink plenty of water or orange juice. Try to stop eating treats if you are. You could also have sugar free sweets. For a snack eat nuts, fruits, or sugar free pudding packs. Try to cut calories from daily meals. Vegetables are low on calories and provides nutrition. Try to cut trans fat too. REGULAR FAT IS OK!!! Make sure you still get enough carbohydrates, calcium, protein, vitamins, and fiber. Very little sodium and sugar. Natural sugar in fruit is OK. You should see results within the first few weeks.
