Help! What would the correlation coefficient, r?
Suppose that the data sets are data on the weight of a person in pounds and the number of calories burned in 30 minutes of walking on a treadmill to 3.5 mph. What would the correlation coefficient, r, the change if all weights were converted to kilograms?
The correlation should not change the time to convert everything. Think of it this way: If 're talking about how fast someone is going in miles per hour, and then you decide to convert it into feet per minute, which is still going at the same speed, right?
