Hey ppl i have to write an essay describing any object i like or hold dear ….without naming what it is!
ive chosen my treadmill coz i like working out and its a great passtime and ive had it fr years now …. however i need some help in describing a treadmill …. how could u do that by making it interesting ??
Write the essay as a mystery – describing the object and hoping the reader will guess what it is.
To make it interesting, describe it in ways that make it seem like it is something that you would NOT hold dear.
For example, use phrases like this – “the object I hold dear is monstrously big, very heavy, ugly, hard to move. When in interact with it, I get all sweaty. It gives me great pain, but it’s worth it. It makes lots of noise. It can be dangerous. It it gets mad at me, it will throw me off it. I have to be careful around it or I could get hurt.” You get the idea. Just give it some thought.
