treadmill
Sweet Pinki asked:

If you know the slope and the speed and time spend? The treadmill also shows the calories consumed but that reading is wrong I think.

Calories is a big subject when it comes to weight loss. We need to know 3 things: the number of calories in our food, the number of calories a specific physical action expends every sixty minutes, and last but not least our own personal daily allowance of calories. I learned the solutions to all of these queries by reading the website in the box below, they have loads of tips and tricks, I worked off 5 pounds by following their tips.

its totally impossible to know as these machine’s just give an estimated guess because everybody’s metabolism is unique like fingerprints so we all burn calories off at different speeds, what i do is simply ignore the calorie reading and just watch the time exercising,as long as you follow a good calorie counting plan-1200 per day or whatever works for you it doesn’t really matter…..

There are formula available which will give you exact calories consumed once you give the slope , weight , speed etc for your Trade mill. Rather than asking this question here , better search in google. I have one such link, pasting here for your reference.

Unfortunately the formula you’re looking for is a lot more complicated: calories burnt on a treadmill depend on: personal details (age, weight, height, heart rate) plus the treadmill workout details (speed and incline). Good treadmills ask for all your personal information from the start and calculate the number of caloried depending on the workout you do.

If your treadmill doesn’t do that, you could look for another optimal solution.

    Happy running!
