I would like to lose 25-30 pounds by the time school starts (end of August). How can I do this?

I am 13, weigh 137.5, and am 5’4” tall. Am I overweight?

I want to start off eighth grade by surprising everyone. That means losing a little weight. I’ve got until the end of August.
At home, I have a treadmill and lots of open space. I prefer not to be outside because it is so hot out. I love chocolate, but am willing to give up some of it. I would rather not go on a diet, but am willing to eat healthier if I knew how. If anyone can help me reach this goal, I would greatly appriciate it.

Excercise and eat better. Better food and less portions.
