Teens:how do you lose weight in a short amount of time?
i weigh 188lbs(plz dont call me fat or anything) im 13 years old. im 5’2. i NEED to look good for my 7th grade formal(may 21st)! i really need help. i have a treadmill and exercise bike! help me please:)
well first you need to know your BMR. You can google “BMR CALCULATOR” into google, and then you will have to type in your height, weight, age, and sex. and they will give you a certain amount of calories your body burns everyday if you were to just lay in bed all day. Example: if your bmr is 1500, you would want to eat a few calories less than that everyday. or you could eat the 1500 calories and then workout on your treadmill & your bike and burn 200 or 300 calories. if you do this everyday til then you’ll be sure to lose weight. the more calories you burn the more you can eat. just eat more healthy foods. limit yourself to foods with low calories. stay away from white bread & whole milks. Skim milks good, Almond milks better if you like it.. i love it. and believe or not eating healthy really isnt that bad..there are alot of yummmmy healthy foods w/ low cals. cereal, fruit, veggies, 100 calorie snacks, lowcal popcorn, smoothies + the list goes onn & on. you can just google “healthy low calorie snacks”. and you’ll get a ton. Make sure you dont starve yourself.. bc anyone can starve themselves and lose a bunch of weight.. but once you have starved for too long your body will crave food and eat soo much, then you will end up gainging weight. Diet isnt really a diet, its a lifestyle… so just eat healthy w/ littler portions. so drinks lots & lots of water, eat healthy food, chew sugarfree gum to prevent candy cravings, and workout even if its just a half hour a day.
