I want to lose my stomach. I am not looking for hardcore abs or anything. But just looking to flatten it out a bit. I weigh close to 145 and should be really at 130. I dont have a problem with running on the treadmill. I think 45 minutes non-stop would be easy for me because I used to do it a year ago. I know once I get on it again, it will be okay for me. Anyone help?

I have a treadmill and i like to run on it but only when i am in the mood. Using the tv or ipod don’t really help me that much.

Elliptical seems a lot easier, I only do it because after i’m done running on the treadmill my left knee kills. I also burn a lot more calories on the elliptical. I enjoy running and I have to get used to it because I am leaving for bootcamp at the end of this upcoming summer.

The owners manual of my Horizon Treadmill states the following:

EVERY 6 MONTHS OR 150 MILES
It is necessary to lubricate your treadmill running deck every six months
or 150 miles to maintain optimal performance of your treadmill. Once the
treadmill reaches 150 miles, the console will prompt you to lubricate the
treadmill. Only use lubricant provided by Horizon Fitness!
• Turn of the treadmil with the on/off switch, then unplug the
power cord at the wall outlet.
• Loosen both the rear roller bolts. (For best results, place two removable
marks on both sides of the frame and note roller position). Once
the belt is loosened, take the bottle of lubricant and apply it to the
entire top surface of the running deck. Tighten both rear roller bolts
(matching up the marks for proper position) to original position. After
you have applied lubricant, plug in the power cord, insert the safety
key, start the treadmill and walk on the belt for two minutes to spread
the lubricant.

I don’t mean this in a cruel way by all means. My dogs love walks and can’t seem to get enough! When it’s raining, i still would like to be able to exercise them.. Did try a few times but the sudden movement of the treadmill starting starttles them.Any ideas? One’s kind of getting over weight too!
I do take them bike riding with me when the weather is good just winter is coming and they wont get much exercise.

How much should I spend? I’m thinking $1400ish.

I have searched some websites and it seems $1400ish would still not give me a good enough sturdy one.

I’ve always heard that running intervals like 2 minutes fast pace than 2 minutes slow pace and so on is a good way to workout. But I would think that running a good 25-30 minutes fast pace is also a good workout. Which way is more efficient and what is an overall good workout plan?
