Elliptical trainer burned same as much as my treadmill???
I normally jog on my treadmill for 20 mins and burned 128 calories. Yesterday, I bought the schwinn 430 elliptical machine and used it for 20 minutes. I noticed that the calories I burned is similar to the calories I burned on my treadmill, 128. I thought this is some kind of mistake, so what i did is I rest for a few minutes then use it again. I was surprised to see that I burned the exact same calories again. In my treadmill, I jog 3mph and elliptical my speed is like from 4-6. Do you think that my elliptical is not reading my calories right? My sister has a proform elliptical, I sometimes go to her house and use her elliptical for 20 minutes, I always burn 175 – 180 and that is why I decided to buy an elliptical because I thought it burns more calories than my treadmill. But, I guess not.. What seems to be the problem? I’m so disappointed…
By the way, I’m 5’4 and 115 lbs.

sometimes those things are very inaccurate. At the gym, I usually burn a little more on the elliptical because I can go faster. Do they both have a place to enter age, weight. If not, then it’s not accurate .
