I run for about 3-4 miles a day on the treadmill, do my 10 minute walk cool down, but a colleague of mine said i should try to incorporate walking backwards (on tip-toes) on a slight incline on the treadmill for several minutes and I would see different results in leg muscles. Any input? I have added that to my cool down, and it seems like i don’t feel any difference–any advice? Thanks!

My 10 month old husky mix loves to go for walks and I tend to walk her 2x a day (both 45 minutes each). However, it has been very stormy lately and I would really like for her to get up on the treadmill but she’s absolutely terrified of it. My hubby and I have tried a few times but poor Chloe hates it.

Any tips?

I had a baby three and a half months ago. I am 5ft8in and I weigh 156lbs. My goal is to weigh 115-120lbs. I have been walking on my treadmill at about 3.0mph on a full incline for 30 minutes everyday. So my question is how long before I can see results and how long till I start losing weight?

I usually run on a treadmill 3-4 times per week. When doing it, I run at 6.8 mph for the duration of three miles (no stopping or slowing down). I was wondering if this is enough to prepare for a 5K that will be outside. Thanks for any help or suggestions.
It will have some rolling hills since it will be located in Charlotte, NC.
